Meet Dr. Sean Blake
Dr. Sean Blake is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic hand surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of hand and wrist conditions. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and also holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Slippery Rock University, giving him a unique, comprehensive perspective on musculoskeletal care.

Dr. Blake completed his orthopedic surgery residency through Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he served as Co-Chief Resident, followed by advanced fellowship training in orthopedic hand surgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is the Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Columbus Hand Institute in Columbus, Georgia, and previously served as Director of the Hand Center at St. Francis Orthopedic Institute.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Blake is actively involved in medical education and leadership, serving as Site Director for the Hughston Clinic Orthopedic Residency Program and as clinical faculty for multiple medical schools. He is committed to patient-centered care, combining surgical expertise with a strong foundation in rehabilitation, prevention, and long-term function.
